Stepping back in time at Abbey House Museum

Members and friends visited Abbey House Museum this week and listened to a fascinating talk about death and disease … not as depressing as you would think!  There was a chance to wander down a Victorian street which now houses a police station and several new shops, as well as the undertaker’s window display.  Take a look at these great photos … we particularly like the one of Angela underneath the washing!
