Despite the weather and the subsequent change of route (work in progress at Thurscross and weather warnings at Grimwith!), our walkers, led by Christine and John Pearce, set off in a more local direction nearer to the Heritage Centre. In places they were caught in snow showers but mainly the sun shone and the temperature wasn’t too bad. Lunch was served back at the Centre and it was a warming chicken & chorizo casserole followed by blueberry crumble and cream. A coffee finished things off so a good day was had by all.
