Liz Milner and her band of willing volunteers from Nidderdale National Landscape spent some time carrying out important repair work to the dry-stone walls of the car park at the Centre. We are most grateful to them all and looking forward to seeing them in the Tea Room very soon to enjoy cake and coffee.
Liz returned a week or so later with another band of willing volunteers and proceeded to make brilliant progress on the reservoir path which leads from the Centre down to the path around the reservoir. The path often becomes obliterated by leaves, twigs, branches and debris, which make it difficult for visitors to find their way up to us on the winding path. We now have softly engineered hedges which now offer a guided route. We are very thankful to have received help and support from NNL this summer.
