Near and Far Photography Competition

And now it’s your chance to show us your photography skills!  You are invited to enter up to 5 of your photographs illustrating the subject “Near and Far” into our competition.  Images must be entered as digital files and may be taken using a camera or smartphone.

Entry fee: £1 per image or 5 images for £4 (up to a maximum of 5 entries per person).  There are two classes: adult and under 18 years.

Closing date: 31 August 2019

The competition will be judged by a panel to be chaired by the chairman of Washburn Heritage Centre, Simon Hill, who was awarded the distinction of Professional Photographer of the Year at the National Photography Awards 2019.  The results of the competition and the winning photograph will be published on our website in September.  Prizes will be given!

All entries are to be submitted as jpeg files, maximum 1920×1200 pixels, 2MB.  File names to be “Surname_FirstName_Title-with-hyphens.jpg.  For example Bloggs_Fred_View-across-Thruscross.jpg
