Discovering Harrogate!

On Thursday last week, seventeen Heritage Centre members enjoyed a leisurely 3 mile walk in the sunshine through historic Harrogate, led by volunteer Sarah Stead.  They learnt about the beautiful buildings of Harrogate’s spa heydays and wandered through the lovely Valley Gardens, experienced the sulphur spa waters and the famous Farrar’s toffee, made acquaintance with a prehistoric tree and an African tenor!  Lunch at Farrar’s Tea Shop followed an enjoyable and educational morning.

There are walks in our next programme The Roads Taken and if you are interested in joining in, please check out our Events page on this website.
