Not just supper, but a Washburn Christmas supper! We got together in early December to enjoy a delicious traditional feast, cooked and served by our wonderful volunteers Chris, Les, Ann, Cynthia and Val. Music was provided by our friend Jean Sinclair who performed some carols, a bit of Motown, some pop music and songs to sing-a-long to. It was a super evening and we also said goodbye (but not forever) to one of our dedicated, long-serving volunteers Tom Cox who has retired from “duty”. Here are a few photos from the evening, and a taste of what was to come in January … the snow prevented the Tea Room from opening on the first two Sundays … we finally managed to open on 19th January.
