Chocolate heaven at the Heritage Centre

On Friday last week one of our amazing volunteers, Les Bown, took to the “stage” and showed a large group of members and friends how he makes his hand-crafted chocolates.

After retiring from the communication industry, Les took a different path and turned his newly-found skill of chocolate making into a small business.  We heard his story and enjoyed sampling the delicious chocolates.  The group were able to buy boxes of chocolates for Christmas gifting and the afternoon was one of warmth, chat and laughter.  We will do it again!  Thank you Les.
