Another glorious day for a walk led by volunteers at the Heritage Centre. Starting at Timble cross-roads, the group followed the old road along Timble Ridge and onto Dunkirk before returning over Denton Moor via High Badger Gate. Walking in the footsteps of our ancestors, the group talked about Romans on the road and people who may have been Badgers or traders selling their wares.
