A visit from Otley Action for Older People

On Friday 14th March we were delighted to welcome members of Otley Action for Older People to the Heritage Centre.  They arrived on a mini-bus in time for a super lunch of sandwiches, delicious cake and plenty of Yorkshire tea.  After lunch Sally Robinson of the Centre gave a talk about how the Centre came to be, what we do here, why we do it, and what the Fewston Assemblage is all about.  Here she is with an enthralled audience.  If you would like to know more about the Washburn Heritage Centre, have a look round our website, check out the Archive tab and Churchyard Secrets.  It’s fascinating!
