The War Memorial in Fewston Churchyard is shown in the 1920s. A weath is laid there every year and there was a special service on November 11th 2014 to mark the centenary of the start of WW1.
Exhbition panels covered both World Wars and Washburn’s involvement in the Civil War as prominent local men Thomas and Ferdinando Farifax led Parliamentary forces.
