A circular walk starting from the Hopper Lane layby on the A59 following a varied route via woods, fields with some stiles, and Fewston embankment to St Andrew’s Church. Commissioned by Lady Frankland Russell, this was a chapel of ease for her estate workers. A light lunch will be available whilst we enjoy the festival of decorated Christmas trees before a short walk back to the cars. About 4-5 miles. Cost £12 member, £15 non-member.
