A walk across mixed terrain, with stiles, through the former industrial area centred on the huge West House Mill, Blubberhouses. We will be in the vicinity of the Apprentice Houses, the homes of the pauper apprentice children, then passing disused mill ponds and follow the Washburn. Return over moorland to the start. Approx 5 miles, parking details will be advised later. Lunch served back at the Centre. Cost £12 member, £15 non-member.
